Enterprise platforms

Put AI to work in the systems you already run.

Your customer records, finance, logistics and operations already sit in SAP, Salesforce or Odoo. We set up, extend and connect each of them, and bring in AI under the permissions those platforms already enforce, so automation and insight appear inside the screens your teams use every day.

For Malaysian groups whose platforms must work as one, from the parent company’s ledger to customer service and companies in Europe.

Partner status

We hold partner status with each of the three vendors. Our information security management is certified to ISO/IEC 27001.

Each of the three platforms is strong at one kind of work. Problems begin when one of them is stretched to cover another’s role, or when spreadsheets and one-off scripts are all that hold them together.

We help you decide where each type of data and each process should live, configure and extend every platform with discipline, and connect them to AI and to the rest of your systems. FromNine has 2,400+ people working in AI engineering, software, cloud and platform roles, so the team configuring a platform also builds its interfaces and its AI.

Each platform has its own role

This comparison comes from delivery work rather than vendor marketing. Many organisations use two of the three, and some use all of them.

SalesforceCustomer-facing work
Role in your landscape
Relationships and cases with customers, partners and members of the public.
Who usually runs it
Organisations with heavy customer contact, whether they serve one country or many.
Strengths
Case handling, portals, quick configuration and a wide range of partners and add-on apps.
Risks to manage
Per-user licence fees, governor limits, and automation that multiplies when nobody steers it.
Built-in AI
Agentforce agents drawing on Data 360, with model calls passing the Einstein Trust Layer.
Where we usually begin
A review of the existing org, or a single service process with one thoroughly tested agent.

The customer-facing layer above SAP or Odoo, connected through events and APIs.
Salesforce
SAPThe group ledger
Role in your landscape
The record of money, materials and production for a whole group of companies.
Who usually runs it
Listed companies, large groups and government-linked companies with many legal entities and demanding statutory reporting.
Strengths
Depth in finance, logistics and manufacturing, plus budget control for public bodies.
Risks to manage
Custom code that makes every upgrade hard, and long programmes run without clean-core discipline.
Built-in AI
Joule within SAP Business AI, with custom cases built on the SAP BTP generative AI hub.
Where we usually begin
A readiness check and a route choice, well ahead of the end of ECC mainstream maintenance on 31 December 2027.
Its place in a combined landscape
The group ledger, with Odoo in smaller companies and Salesforce facing customers.
SAP
OdooERP in modules
Role in your landscape
One ERP made of modules, for a mid-sized business or a single company inside a group.
Who usually runs it
SMEs, mid-sized firms, group subsidiaries and non-profit organisations.
Strengths
Wide functional scope on one database, a modest entry cost and an open-source core.
Risks to manage
Deep customisation, which makes each annual upgrade a project of its own.
Built-in AI
Digitisation of supplier bills and receipts, plus AI features added in recent releases.
Where we usually begin
Mapping the modules, then a fixed-scope first phase, usually finance with e-Invoice through MyInvois.
Its place in a combined landscape
The ERP of a subsidiary that reports into an SAP group ledger.

How the platforms work together

Few organisations run only one of these platforms. Most run them beside custom applications and a data platform, with links to networks such as MyInvois and Peppol. What matters is how the pieces cooperate: one system owns each fact, changes travel as events rather than overnight copies, and AI can read across systems while every user permission still applies.

Our platform specialists share interface contracts with our AI engineers, data specialists and integration team. A change made in SAP reaches Salesforce as expected, and an agent working in Salesforce can touch an Odoo invoice only under rules someone has approved.

  1. 01

    Clear ownership

Every type of data has a single owning system; the rest subscribe to its changes.

  2. 02

    A single integration layer

All APIs and events run through one governed layer, with monitoring on every hop.

  3. 03

    Data ready for AI

Records from each platform reach the data platform with their business context preserved.

  4. 04

    AI within user rights

Agents work across platforms only with the rights you grant, and every action has an approval path and a log.

At the top, Salesforce, SAP and Odoo stand next to each other, and each one owns its own type of data.

Each of them is linked to a single integration layer made of APIs and events.

Beneath that layer sit services they share: identity, custom applications, AI services with agents, the data platform, and tax and trade networks such as MyInvois and Peppol.

Malaysia

Platform decisions for organisations in Malaysia

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) phased in mandatory e-Invoice between 1 August 2024 and 1 January 2026, and invoices are now validated through MyInvois. That puts the ERP at the centre of tax compliance. Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is the Peppol Authority for Malaysia, with Malaysia PINT as the national specification, which gives a second route for exchanging invoices.

Malaysian groups with companies in Europe also meet EU rules there. Under the EU Data Act, customers may switch between cloud providers and obtain the data their systems produce, so platform contracts and exit plans need to address both. NIS2 sets security expectations for the integration layer.

We take these into account when the platform is chosen and the architecture is drawn, not in a compliance review shortly before go-live.

Common questions about the platforms

How do we choose between the three platforms?

Begin with the work to be done rather than the product. Heavy customer contact and case handling suggest Salesforce. A ledger for a whole group, with demanding finance, logistics or budget control, suggests SAP. A mid-sized business or a subsidiary that wants one affordable system suggests Odoo.

Many landscapes need two of them. Before any licence is bought, we write down which system is the owner of each data type and each process.

Will you take on a platform that another partner implemented?

Yes. We first review the configuration, custom code, interfaces and open issues, and tell you what to keep, repair or retire before we accept responsibility for it.

Is your work limited to these three platforms?

For these three we hold partner status and employ dedicated specialists. Next to them we build custom software, cloud and data platforms and AI systems, so the solution never stops where one platform’s features end.

How is AI linked to these platforms without weakening control?

Only through the APIs each vendor releases and the platform’s own permission model, never by working around them. Permissions stay narrow, approval gates sit before consequential steps and every action is logged. Output is tested against criteria agreed with you, both before go-live and afterwards, and a person handles the uncertain cases. Where personal data is involved, the design follows the Security Principle of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), as amended by Act A1727.

Do you deliver these platforms for the public sector?

Yes, and that experience comes from Europe: 600+ government projects for public authorities in EU Member States, some completed and others still running. For a statutory body or federal agency in Malaysia, it means tender documentation that answers every requirement, accessible screens and audit trails that hold up in review. Our public sector page explains more.
