Services
Seven engineering practices, one accountable team.
Indian enterprises that work with Europe need data their AI can trust, agents bounded by approvals, software built for years of use, interfaces to the IRP and to EU partners, a cloud base that meets CERT-In logging rules, and an architecture that ties it together.
For Indian enterprises, exporters and global capability centres whose customers, subsidiaries or parent groups sit in the European Union.

How the seven practices connect
A model answers well only when the records beneath it are clean, the ERP and core systems around it are reachable and the platform under it is governed. For that reason we scope AI, applications and infrastructure as one engagement, not three contracts.
FromNine has 2,400+ people, so the engineers who design a retrieval index also understand the SAP or Odoo tables it reads and the cloud account it is deployed in. You may engage one practice alone; most mandates draw on two or three.
Five layers on a single path
- Data & AnalyticsOwned data products, purpose tags under the DPDP Act
- AI Engineering & GenAICited retrieval, model gateway, release gates, LLMOps
- AI Agents & AutomationMaker-checker approvals, narrow tools, replayable logs
- Enterprise Software & SaaSPortals and SaaS products your own team can maintain for years
- Cloud & Platform EngineeringLanding zones, paved paths, reliability and cost control
- Data & Analytics: Change data capture and data interfaces
- AI Engineering & GenAI: Retrieval connectors that honour access rights
- AI Agents & Automation: Narrow tool interfaces with limits
- Enterprise Software & SaaS: Versioned contracts and events
- Cloud & Platform Engineering: Gateways, identity and private links
- Source data to production on one path, with one team answerable for it.
- Integrations & APIs link each layer to the systems you already run.
- Architecture & Consulting surrounds the complete system.
Every layer opens its own service page. Hover over or tab to a layer to see where the integration practice joins it.
Read the diagram as text
Five stacked layers read from the top: Data & Analytics, then AI Engineering & GenAI, then AI Agents & Automation, then Enterprise Software & SaaS, and at the base Cloud & Platform Engineering. A single path leads from source data down to the production platform.
Beside the stack runs a vertical bar for Integrations & APIs. It links every layer to the systems you already operate: change data capture and data interfaces for the data layer, retrieval connectors for AI, narrowly scoped tool interfaces for agents, versioned contracts and events for software, and gateways with identity for the cloud base.
Around the full stack sits Architecture & Consulting, which steers the system through recorded decisions, a target state and a phased roadmap.
02 Typical mandates
How mandates draw on the practices
Common shapes of the requirements Indian and European organisations bring to us, with the practices each one needs. The actual scope is always set by your situation.

India
Indian law at home, EU law through your customers
An Indian group serving Europe answers to two rulebooks. At home, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 phases in through the DPDP Rules up to May 2027, and listed cyber incidents must be reported to CERT-In within six hours of being noticed. In Europe, the EU AI Act reaches providers outside the Union whose AI output is used there, and the GDPR covers Indian firms that offer goods or services to people in the EU.
We engineer each practice so that these differences sit in configuration and in clearly bounded modules rather than in a separate system per jurisdiction. Work for European public administrations has taught us to treat rules that change at a border as an ordinary design input.

Frequently asked questions on our services
May we engage you for one practice only?
Yes, and many organisations begin that way. A first mandate is often an architecture review, a data foundation or a single AI use case with a clear owner. The value of a broader team appears later, when that work reaches into ERP data, interfaces or cloud accounts outside the original scope.
Where do Salesforce, SAP and Odoo fit in?
Those platforms already carry much of your order, finance and customer work. Our practices add AI, data and custom applications around them, and our platform teams implement and extend them. FromNine holds partner status with all three vendors (Salesforce Summit Partner, SAP Gold Partner, Odoo Gold Partner).
Which people would be assigned to our engagement?
A team formed for your scope from our offices in Antwerp, Ghent and Amsterdam, with a lead who remains for the whole engagement. Specialists from other practices join when a design question calls for them. FromNine has no office in India.
What are your information security arrangements?
FromNine is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Before work begins we agree in writing which systems and records the team may access; access is kept to that scope and reviewed whenever a team member joins or leaves.
Will you handle our DPDP Act, EU AI Act and GDPR compliance?
We engineer for these laws and produce the technical evidence they require: system documentation, logs, access records and incident procedures, including six-hour reporting to CERT-In. Whether a given obligation applies to your organisation is for your legal advisers to conclude; we give them the facts.
