This page lists every cookie and every item of browser storage this website uses. The list is short, because the website only stores what it needs to remember choices you make yourself.

  1. In short

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and no third party sets cookies through this website. That is why you do not see a consent banner.

If we ever add a technology that needs your consent, we will ask for it before anything is stored, make refusing as easy as accepting, and update this page.

  2. What we store

Two of the three items are not cookies but values in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device: the website reads them in your browser to show the theme and animation setting you chose.

The language cookie is sent to our server when you open the website’s home address without a language in it, so we can take you straight to the version you chose before. Nothing is stored until you make a choice.

FN_LOCALEFromNine (first party)Remembers the language and region you chose with the switcher, so the home address opens that version next time. Set only when you use the switcher.Preferences180 days
fn-themeFromNine, local storageRemembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. Stored only after you use the theme switch.PreferencesUntil you remove it
fn-motionFromNine, local storageRemembers that you paused animations. Stored only while animations are paused.PreferencesUntil you remove it
  3. Removing your preferences

You can remove all three items at any time with the button below, or through your browser settings, which also let you block cookies and site data for this website. Blocking them does not stop the website from working; it simply forgets your choices.

  4. Changes to this policy

We update this page whenever we add, change or remove a cookie or storage item. The version and dates at the top of the page show which version you are reading.
